This is a single family home, occupying the top floor of a building in Toronto. The home is furnished both functionally and elegantly, with beautiful custom furnishings, lighting and artwork.
Zentertainment worked with the designer and builder in many areas to add to the family’s enjoyment of their new home:
– high performance and reliable Wifi throughout the home, indoors and out
– automated lighting with custom programmed light scenes
– automated shades for both privacy and light / heat control
– discreet ceiling speakers throughout the home for audio wherever they want to listen
– custom TV installed in various rooms including finished ceramic tile wall in the family room
– custom home theatre in the middle of the residence, controlled with a single simple remote. And built with proper noise control so they can enjoy the theatre without disturbing the rest of the home!
– golf simulator on the upper level (with extra high ceilings!)

We are still enhancing this project – new light scenes and planning for an upgrade to their outdoor audio and lighting.

Our client completely renovated this condo close to the St. Lawrence market in downtown Toronto. They took the opportunity to integrate automation and audio/video throughout their home. The Control4 automation system and app gives them a convenient and reliable way to manage all of it, even when you’re not at home.

• New wired and wireless network with great coverage and performance, even in the middle of all the interference in a building in downtown Toronto
• 7 rooms of audio with a mix of ceiling speakers, on-wall speakers and soundbars. Audio includes internet radio, local radio, Airplay, Cast, and Spotify. Different rooms can play different sources, or rooms can be joined together to play the same audio.
• 4K video distribution – all the video sources (Rogers, Bell Fibe, Apple TV, Roku etc) are in the equipment rack, the video and audio are sent over a dedicated IP network to any TV you choose.
• Motorized and automated shades.
• Control4 smart lighting.
• Ecobee smart thermostat with multiple remote temperature sensors.
• Control4 automation system controlling all the other systems.

Douglas Peppiatt, owner of Morrevz Recording, was building a completely new pro recording studio at his home in midtown Toronto.
Zentertainment provided
– all new wired and wireless networking through the whole house, with fast, secure Wireless Access Points (WAPs) on each floor for easy and reliable audio and video streaming
– 7 independent audio zones in the house. Each zone can play it’s own music at it’s own volume
– 4 zones for video distribution. Any video source can be watched in any room, all hidden away in the equipment rack
– Studio Monitoring – an easy way to feed the audio from the studio to any room in the house, so we could hear how it sounds when it isn’t in the studio!
